Thank you for writing me. I was thinking of you today, as I was
responding to someone else's emails. I had not heard of the "Salvation
Path Energy" until you wrote to me. I believe their energy connection
is through Reiki? I am happy you are exploring different spiritual
paths, as I did much the same even when I was new to my path.
There is only one God, and many are his names.
I am thinking it is similiar but I have been told by the
founders of it that it is a much more powerful energy than reiki.

There is always a new manifestation of God. Your own spiritual journey is totally your own. Evaluate everything on its own merits and take what you need of it to further your own journey.
I realize now that your path is a path of energy discovery. That is why I gave the Gayatri Mantra to you, because that will be much better for your discovery than the books titles I sent you. The autobiography will help you put your energy discovery in context with Kriya Yoga, which is the method taught by that school. Yogananda embedded spiritual energy in the book. It is stronger in some parts of the book than others. See if you can pick it up.
As you already have been introduced to Tantra through the 'Salvation Path', I guess its time you were exposed to a different aspect of Tantra. I am including a link to an ebook "Kundalini Tantra" by Swami Satyananda Saraswati.
http://www.eso-garden.com/specials/kundalini_tantra.pdf
Satyananda is the brother monk to my Guru. They were both disciples of Swami Sivananda of Rishekesh.
This is an example of white Tantra as is , whereas I teach a grey Tantra.
I am going to introduce you to a new aspect of energy that will help
in controlling and expanding your use of the energy.Shakti or power is
associated with the female side of nature. That's why we call earth
Mother Earth. Kundalini is feminine, as is the name Gayatri. The
Gayatri Mantra is the most potent mantra after the OM
mantra. Here is a link to a beautiful rendition
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YW8IjcOWtlI
Here is the wisdom of this mantra. Gayatri is the triune aspect of the
Kundalini as it rises up and down the spine.
If you learn to sing this mantra, the energy will rise much smoother
and faster, particularly if you combine it with meditation.
If you are with people when meditating, you can sing it silently. Wiki
has a relatively good interpretation that will get you started.
I am listening to that now and it is beautiful, I will
memorize the lyrics and sing this next time I am meditating, it will
be tommorow as tonight I am not able too.
A bookkeeping question. Can I use some of your questions in a blog? it
will be helpful to others. Also, I would like to introduce you to some
of the people who have been writing to me. Perhaps you could help them
with their pranayama exercises.
you to spiritual seekers. is that ok with you?
It is an empowering process for people to gather around a spiritual
idea. the Buddhist term is the Sangha.
I dont mind at all, if it will help others feel free to im more
then willing. Could you give me a link to your blog, I would be very
interested in seeing it. Are you saying that I can help people? I
would love to help people but well, I dont feel I am experienced
enough. I mean you have been a huge help so far, im not sure I could
live up to you.
You are a yogi from a past life. You can do anything you set your mind to do. Your skills at teaching are dormant right now. They will come flooding back when you start.I will help you at the beginning, if you need, but I'm not sure you even need that help.
Just tell them of your experiences and show them how you did it. That's all.
I have a question, on youtube for instance there are people who are
interviewed after having "spontanious kundalini awakenings" , these
people dont seem to have any siddhis like the yogis do. Why is this?
You had a spontaneous kundalini awakenings. You don't seem to have any siddhi's or do you?
It is because they are best only an awakening. The awakening can be compared to the smoke erupting from a volcano before the real eruption. There is just no comparison. The carrot at the top of your head feeling you had was the clearing of the sushumma.
Once the Kundalini rises, the petals of the chakras turn up in the chakras that the Kundalini is in. If the Kundalini stays for some time in that chakras, energy starts to accumulate in the petals. It is like putting gas in the car. The car will not run without gasoline. The chakra petal (with the associated siddhi) will not operate without tejas accumulating in the petal of the chakra. The so-called awakening doesn't last long enough for the Kundalini even to rise to the chakra where the siddhi is located.
You may may noticed when you were feeling all these energy
shifts, you did little or no thinking. You were just aware. Sometime I
will talk to you about the energy sheaths that we are encased in.
Ya, I think you are right, I dont recall thinking much at all, I
was just enjoying the moment.

Ya, I think you are right, I dont recall thinking much at all, I

While you were in that state, you left the mind behind in the mental sheath and touched the bliss sheath. If you had stayed in that state for long enough, that would have been the first stage of Samadhi. As it was, you slipped in and out of that awareness. When you had a thought, you had to rise to the mental sheath, thus leaving contact with the bliss sheath.
You retained the breath without knowing that you did.. You should do
your meditation sitting up with the spine straight. If you cannot sit
cross legged, use a chair with arms on the side, so you can block
yourself in. There are important energy shifts if your spine is
upright.
So retaining breath, is that bad to do?

So retaining breath, is that bad to do?
Retaining the breath consciously beyond your capacity to hold it easily is harmful. The sheath of the nadi is like a rubber inner tube. By itself, it can easily burst when too much air pressure is put on it. But if you put the same sheath inside a tough rubber outer tire, and then blow it up, the sheath can take hundreds of pounds of pressure, because the pressure is transferred to a much tougher material.
The much tougher material is the practice to build up slowly the length of time holding the breath. With practice you can hold the breath for several minutes and still be able to exhale slowly. To exhale the breath is a ragged stream is counter productive.
When you have natural retention of the breath because your consciousness is elsewhere, this problem is avoided.
Because I did hold my
breath for a minute during my meditation to see if I could get the
kundalini to raise a little more. I was locked in my bathroom as this
is the most priate place seeing as I have 2 bros and 2 parents. It was
late at night too, so I was sitting on the toilet cover with my hands
resting on my knees. I did have my spine straight im just saying that
when I would move my neck a force would move it back.

There will come a time when your meditation practices will take you into a very deep state where you absolutely will lose consciousness of your body. If you are sitting on the toilet top, you are likely to fall and hurt your body.It is better to sit on a pillow or mat on the floor with your back to the door or wall. Keep a separate clothe for this purpose only. After a while the energy will accumulate in the clothe and help your meditation.
